LG G7 Fit is slightly better than LG G5, getting a 77 score against 76.1. LG G7 Fit's design is newer and a little bit lighter, but also just a little thicker than the LG G5. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but the LG G7 Fit has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it gives some nice extra features and optimized performance.
LG G7 Fit has a brighter screen than LG G5, because it has a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a larger display and a little bit more pixels per inch of display. LG G7 Fit has as much memory capacity to store more apps and games as the LG G5, they have equal internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG G5 features a little better hardware performance than LG G7 Fit. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core processor. LG G5 takes a bit better videos and photos than LG G7 Fit, and although they both have a 16 MP back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG G5 also has a larger aperture for better low light photos and video and a larger back camera sensor taking better quality videos and photographs.
The LG G7 Fit counts with a bit superior battery life than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
