Comparison review

The LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is much better than the LG G5's 76.1 general score. LG Velvet's design is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than LG G5. The LG Velvet has a bit better processor than LG G5, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cores.

The LG G5 features just a bit better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher display density. The LG Velvet features a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G5, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG Velvet also has 96 GB more internal memory.

LG Velvet features a very superior battery duration than LG G5, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The LG Velvet captures better pictures and videos than LG G5, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the LG Velvet also has a much bigger sensor and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the LG Velvet is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an obvious call.
