The Moto G8 Plus is just a bit better than the LG G5, with a 77.6 score against 76.1. Although Moto G8 Plus is extremely newer than the LG G5, it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Motorola Moto G8 Plus has just a little better performance than LG G5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has 4 more cpu cores.

The LG G5 features a little sharper screen than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch of display. The Moto G8 Plus takes much better videos and photos than LG G5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and video, a back facing camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality.

The LG G5 counts with a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a much longer battery life than LG G5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
