Motorola Moto Z2 Play has an overall score of 77.4, which is a bit better than LG G5's 76.1 general score. Motorola Moto Z2 Play's body is newer, thinner and just a little lighter than the LG G5. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a little faster processor than LG G5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a larger number of 2200 megahertz cores.

LG G5 features a little more vivid screen than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a better number of pixels per display inch. The Moto Z2 Play has a greater storage to install games and applications than LG G5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB, the Moto Z2 Play also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.

LG G5 counts with a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the LG G5 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a little longer battery performance than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Moto Z2 Play is also by far the cheapest one.
