Comparison review

The OnePlus 8 Pro is a little bit better than the LG G5, getting a 77.2 score against 76.1. OnePlus 8 Pro is a much newer cellphone than LG G5, but it's notably heavier and somewhat thicker. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a brighter display than LG G5, because although it has a quite lower number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3168 and a larger display.

The LG G5 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than LG G5, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.

The OnePlus 8 Pro shoots much clearer photos and videos than LG G5, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same video resolution, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality, a way more mega-pixels back facing camera and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.

OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much longer battery duration than LG G5, because it has 4510mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get LG G5, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
