Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than the LG G5, getting a general score of 79.6 against 76.1. The Galaxy A40 is a noticeably newer and lighter cellphone than LG G5, but it is a bit thicker. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A40 has the previous 11 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.

LG G5 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
