Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is much better than LG G5's 76.1 general score. The Galaxy A42 is a newer device than the LG G5, but it's somewhat thicker and heavier. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The LG G5 has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a much higher number of pixels per inch of screen.
