Samsung Galaxy Fold is way better than the LG G5, having a global score of 97.6 against 76.1. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it gives some additional features and performance optimizations. The Samsung Galaxy Fold is a notably newer and just a little bit thinner device than the LG G5, although it is heavier.

The LG G5 counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a way higher screen pixel density. Galaxy Fold counts with a bit faster processor than LG G5, because it has 4 more CPU cores and 8 GB more RAM memory.

The Galaxy Fold has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Fold has just a bit better camera than LG G5, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less MP resolution and a worse video quality, it also counts with a bigger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a larger aperture for better low light images.

The Galaxy Fold features a really longer battery performance than LG G5, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy Fold costs a lot more money than the LG G5, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
