The Samsung Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than the LG G5, getting an 80 score against 76.1. Samsung Galaxy M12's design is way newer, but much heavier and incredibly thicker than the LG G5. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M12 has an older 10 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
LG G5 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixels count per inch in the display and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Galaxy M12 has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than LG G5, because although it has a SD card slot that allows 976 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy M12 features a bit better hardware performance than LG G5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy M12 also has more processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a really longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy M12 captures clearer pictures and videos than LG G5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light captures, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
