The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the LG G5, having a global score of 83 against 76.1. Samsung Galaxy Note8's construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the LG G5. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better performance than LG G5, because it has a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Note8 has a screen that is just as good as LG G5's screen, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a just a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.

LG G5 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor offering a lower image quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting photographs in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the LG G5 also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.

The LG G5 counts with a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note8 has superior battery duration than LG G5, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 not only is the best phones in our comparison, but it's also cheaper than the other phone.
