Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than the LG G5, with an 80.8 score against 76.1. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S5 has older 4.4.2 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy S5 body is just a little lighter than the LG G5, although it's just a little bit thicker and was released a bit more more than a year before.

Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a sharper screen than LG G5, because although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixel number per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a bit better processing power than LG G5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with an extra graphics processor.

LG G5 has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the LG G5 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S5 count with really similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a smaller camera aperture, they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same video frame rate, the same camera sensor size and the same resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has a battery duration that's just as good as the battery lifetime in LG G5.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S5 is also by far the cheapest one.
