Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 83.5, which is a bit better than LG G5's score of 76.1. These phones include Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 has an older 5.0 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Galaxy S6 construction is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than LG G5, even though it was released around a year before.

The Galaxy S6 features a quite superior performance than LG G5, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores (although slower), an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit CPU. Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a brighter screen than LG G5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a little bit better screen density.

Galaxy S6's camera is just as good as LG G5's camera, and although the Galaxy S6 has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low light photos and video, they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same sensor size, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same resolution back facing camera.

LG G5 features a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G5 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G5 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 not only is the best devices of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it very easy to pick between these devices.
