Comparison review
LG G5 is a bit better than Galaxy S7 Active, having a 76.1 score against 75.8. LG G5 is a somewhat lighter and much thinner device than Galaxy S7 Active, although both of them were released with only 2 months difference. Galaxy S7 Active features a little sharper screen than LG G5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Galaxy S7 Active also counts with a quite higher number of pixels per inch of display.
The LG G5 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU. LG G5 has a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a really longer battery life than LG G5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. The LG G5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG G5 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher 16 MP resolution.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy LG G5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, letting go a couple features and specifications.
