Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a little bit better than LG G5, with an 80.1 score against 76.1. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is extremely newer than the LG G5's, although it is noticeably thicker and heavier. Both of these phones include the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System). The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little faster CPU than LG G5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a larger number of faster cores.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little sharper screen than LG G5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1440 x 2560px, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. The LG G5 has just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a superior battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 61 percent bigger battery size. The LG G5 has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor giving a lower image quality and a tinier aperture, it also counts with a way better 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get LG G5, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
