Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a lot better than the LG G5, getting a score of 94.6 against 76.1. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has an older 11 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy Z Fold 2's body is a lot newer and a little thinner, but extremely heavier than LG G5.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better performance than LG G5, because it has 8 GB more RAM and a greater number of faster cores. The LG G5 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a higher pixels density.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features slightly more memory for applications and games than LG G5, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a much better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 61 percent more battery capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little bit better camera than LG G5, because although it has a lower video definition and a lot lower resolution camera in the back, and they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the LG G5, giving up some specifications.
