Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a global score of 82.2, which is slightly better than the LG G5's 76.1 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is noticeably newer, but heavier and way thicker than LG G5. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little better processing power than LG G5, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster) and 2 GB more RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a brighter display than LG G5, because it has a bit bigger display, a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and more pixels per display inch. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer videos and photos than LG G5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a back-facing camera with a higher 19 megapixels resolution and a larger back camera sensor.
LG G5 features more memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
