The Xiaomi Black Shark has a score of 80.4, which is just a bit better than the LG G5's global score of 76.1. Xiaomi Black Shark's design is extremely newer, but thicker and heavier than LG G5. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Black Shark has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit better processing power than LG G5, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and faster). The LG G5 counts with just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater pixel count per inch of display.
LG G5 counts with a superior storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G5 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a F1.8 camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the LG G5 also has a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a way better resolution back camera.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a very superior battery life than LG G5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
