Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is just a bit better than LG G5, getting a 78.7 score against 76.1. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the previous 12 version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is extremely newer than LG G5, it is noticeably thicker and incredibly heavier.
The LG G5 features a much better performing CPU than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory and lesser CPU cores (although they are faster). The LG G5 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera and better 60 fps video frame rates.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro counts with a bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a superior battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 66 percent more battery size.
