Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX is just a bit better than LG G5, getting a general score of 76.2 against 76.1. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi MIX has 6.0 Marshmallow version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Xiaomi Mi MIX body is a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier than the LG G5.
The LG G5 and the Xiaomi Mi MIX have incredibly similar processing units, both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. LG G5 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G5 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 16 mega pixels resolution, the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the LG G5 also has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture to take better captures in low light environments.
LG G5 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs more than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, else you can save some money and buy the LG G5, giving up some specs and features.
