Comparison review
LG G5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a 76.1 score against 75.7. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G5 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version, so it gives some additional features. Although the LG G5 is incredibly older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, it's construction is a bit thinner and lighter.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a screen that is just as good as the LG G5 one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has much lesser pixels per inch in the display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen. The LG G5 has a much powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has less cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a better camera than LG G5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor and a back camera with a lot higher 50 megapixels resolution.
The LG G5 has much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a much longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 79 percent greater battery capacity.
