Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the LG G7 One, getting a general score of 90.9 against 76.8. Huawei Mate 40 Pro's design is noticeably newer than LG G7 One's, but it's way heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review use the same Android 10 operating system. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has just a little better processing power than LG G7 One, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.
LG G7 One counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a bit better pixels density. Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than LG G7 One, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a way better camera than LG G7 One, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a lot higher 50 MP resolution back-facing camera, a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and higher video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a way better battery life than LG G7 One, because it has a 47% greater battery capacity.
