Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a general score of 87.1, which is slightly better than LG G7 ThinQ's 81 score. Even though Apple iPhone 8 Plus and LG G7 ThinQ were released only 8 months apart, Apple iPhone 8 Plus's construction is somewhat heavier but also a bit thinner than LG G7 ThinQ. The LG G7 ThinQ has a sharper screen than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a lot better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution, much more display brightness, a little larger screen and a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch.
LG G7 ThinQ features a quite bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. IPhone 8 Plus counts with just a bit better processing power than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has less and slower processing cores and 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
LG G7 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a camera with a lot higher 16 megapixels resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos.
The LG G7 ThinQ features just a bit better battery life than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G7 ThinQ. If you want to save some money, you can get LG G7 ThinQ, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
