The LG G7 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, getting an 81 score against 79.5. LG G7 ThinQ is an way older cellphone than Asus ROG Phone 8, but it is notably lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the LG G7 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14, so it gives a couple nice extra features and increased performance.

LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has much worse brightness and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a greater pixels count in each display inch. LG G7 ThinQ has a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a very superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 captures way better photos and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a way larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much longer battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has an 83% bigger battery capacity.
