Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is much better than LG G7 ThinQ's global score of 81. Both phones in this comparison have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro construction is incredibly newer than LG G7 ThinQ's, but it's thicker and heavier.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit more powerful processor than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. LG G7 ThinQ counts with a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher display pixels density and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3120.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a much better battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures greater videos and photos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a way better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger sensor taking lot better quality videos and photos.
