Comparison review

The Huawei P20 Pro is just a bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, with an 81.4 score against 81. These phones use Android OS, but the Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. The Huawei P20 Pro construction has the same thickness than the LG G7 ThinQ, but it is somewhat heavier.

LG G7 ThinQ has just a little better performance than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a brighter screen than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.

The Huawei P20 Pro takes much better videos and photos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a back facing camera with a much higher 40 MP resolution.

The LG G7 ThinQ counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. Huawei P20 Pro counts with superior battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei P20 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G7 ThinQ, letting go some specifications.
