Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than the LG G7 ThinQ, having a global score of 86.4 against 81. The Huawei P40 is a newer cellphone than the LG G7 ThinQ, although it is a bit thicker and a bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 has older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.
LG G7 ThinQ counts with a sharper display than Huawei P40, and although they both have a same size screen, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a greater display pixel density. LG G7 ThinQ counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei P40 has a bit better performance than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei P40 features a better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor and a back camera with a much better 50 megapixels resolution.
The Huawei P40 counts with greater battery lifetime than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 27 percent more battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 costs a lot more than LG G7 ThinQ, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
