LG G7 ThinQ has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than LG G5's 76.1 overall score. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but LG G7 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version, providing the user some additional features. LG G7 ThinQ's body is extremely newer, but a little bit thicker and a little heavier than LG G5.

LG G7 ThinQ features a bit faster processor than LG G5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG G7 ThinQ also has more processing cores. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a more vivid screen than LG G5, because it has a bigger display, a just a little higher pixel density and a slightly better 1440 x 3120 resolution.

LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
