Comparison review
The LG G8X ThinQ has a global score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ's 81 overall score. The LG G8X ThinQ is a newer device than LG G7 ThinQ, but it's heavier and a little thicker. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS, but the LG G8X ThinQ has older 10 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The LG G7 ThinQ has a more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a greater pixels density. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit better CPU than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 64 GB more internal storage. The LG G8X ThinQ has longer battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The LG G7 ThinQ features a little bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light captures and a much higher 16 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Although LG G8X ThinQ is a better device, it costs more money than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G7 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG G7 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
