Comparison review

The LG V40 ThinQ is a bit better than LG G7 ThinQ, getting an 81.2 score against 81. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the LG V40 ThinQ has an older 10 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though LG V40 ThinQ and LG G7 ThinQ were released with only 5 months difference, the LG V40 ThinQ design is a bit thinner but also just a little heavier than LG G7 ThinQ.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful CPU than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM. LG G7 ThinQ features a much better display than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1440 x 3120px, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.

The LG V40 ThinQ and LG G7 ThinQ both have really similar storage capacity to install applications and games, both of them have the same internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture and a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a much more mega pixels back camera.

LG V40 ThinQ has just a little bit longer battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.

Although LG V40 ThinQ is a better device, it is more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G7 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G7 ThinQ, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
