The LG G7 ThinQ is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a overall score of 81 against 77.2. Despite of the fact LG G7 ThinQ is older and just a little bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 40, it's design is still just a little bit lighter. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but LG G7 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.
The LG G7 ThinQ has a little sharper screen than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a bit smaller display and less brightness, it also counts with a greater pixels amount in each inch of screen and a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG G7 ThinQ features a way better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 40 captures better photographs and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a camera with a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and video and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Motorola Edge 40 has a way better battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
