Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is just a bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, with an 85.5 score against 81. The Samsung Galaxy A51 construction has the same thickness than the LG G7 ThinQ, but it's a bit heavier. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has older 11 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
LG G7 ThinQ has a better display than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel count per inch of display and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. LG G7 ThinQ features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A51. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM.
LG G7 ThinQ has a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A51, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with greater battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 33% greater battery size.
Galaxy A51 captures much better videos and photos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution.
Although Galaxy A51 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G7 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G7 ThinQ, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
