Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than LG G7 ThinQ, with a global score of 83 against 81. Both of these phones come with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). Samsung Galaxy Note8 is better than LG G7 ThinQ, it must be told that it is also a just a little thicker and somewhat heavier device.

LG G7 ThinQ has a much better display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a just a bit greater screen pixel density. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Note8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The LG G7 ThinQ has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note8 counts with a little longer battery life than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The LG G7 ThinQ shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have the same video quality, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video, a back facing camera with a much better resolution and better 60 fps video frame rates.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G7 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
