Comparison review

The LG G7 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5, having a general score of 81 against 80.8. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but LG G7 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, giving you a couple additional features. Even though LG G7 ThinQ is somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5, it's just a bit thinner and much newer.

LG G7 ThinQ has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more cores and 1 GB more RAM. The LG G7 ThinQ and the Galaxy S5 both have really similar screens, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher screen pixel density.

LG G7 ThinQ has a very superior storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG G7 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S5, because although it has a tinier camera sensor, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rate and a way bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments.

LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, LG G7 ThinQ is also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
