Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ's 81 overall score. Even though the Galaxy S6 Edge is noticeably older than the LG G7 ThinQ, it's body is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version while LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features just a little better processing power than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a slightly better display than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a little bit lower 2560 x 1440px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel number in each inch of screen.
LG G7 ThinQ counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G7 ThinQ features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a smaller sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a 16 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures.
LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent more battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G7 ThinQ, resigning a couple specs and features.
