Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is a bit better than LG G7 ThinQ's 81 general score. Although Galaxy S8 Active is better than the LG G7 ThinQ, it must be told that it's also older, way thicker and much heavier. LG G7 ThinQ features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a quite worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a bit higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.
The LG G7 ThinQ has a bit superior processor than Galaxy S8 Active. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. LG G7 ThinQ has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a way more mega pixels back-facing camera, a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low light situations and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
LG G7 ThinQ counts with a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy S8 Active counts with better battery lifetime than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 33% bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G7 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG G7 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
