The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a general score of 91.1, which is better than the LG G7 ThinQ's global score of 81. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a thinner but a lot heavier cellphone than LG G7 ThinQ. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the older 14 version and LG G7 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.

LG G7 ThinQ features a little sharper display than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, because although it has a lot smaller display and a lot darker display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a much better pixels amount per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has much more storage capacity for applications and games than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.

LG G7 ThinQ has a much better performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a really longer battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a bit better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, it also counts with a camera with a lot higher 200 megapixels resolution.

Although Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, else you can save some money and get the LG G7 ThinQ, letting go a couple specs and features.
