Comparison review

The Xperia 1 is a bit better than LG G7 ThinQ, with an 82.6 score against 81. The Xperia 1 is a newer phone than LG G7 ThinQ, but it's just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier. The Xperia 1 has a little faster CPU than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The LG G7 ThinQ features a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a quite smaller screen and a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a really brighter display. LG G7 ThinQ shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a back camera with lot more megapixels and faster video frame rate.

LG G7 ThinQ features a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia 1 has just a bit longer battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G7 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
