Sony Xperia 5 II is a bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ, having an 87.2 score against 81. Sony Xperia 5 II is a a little heavier cellphone than LG G7 ThinQ, but they are equally thin. Xperia 5 II has a little bit better hardware performance than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM.

LG G7 ThinQ features a much better looking screen than Xperia 5 II, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a greater pixels density. Sony Xperia 5 II takes slightly better pictures and videos than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photos, a back camera with a lot lower 12 MP resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality pictures and videos.

The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a bit bigger memory for games and applications than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia 5 II features improved battery lifetime than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G7 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the LG G7 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
