Comparison review
The LG G7 ThinQ has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 general score. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS, but LG G7 ThinQ has 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo version, providing some extra features and optimized performance. The LG G7 ThinQ construction is incredibly thinner and a bit lighter than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, even though both of them were released only 2 months apart.
The LG G7 ThinQ features a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution, a brighter screen, a bigger screen and a little greater quantity of pixels in each screen inch. LG G7 ThinQ has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG G7 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a slightly better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a back facing camera with more MP and a lot larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
