Comparison review

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ's overall score of 81. Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better phone than LG G7 ThinQ, it must be told that it is also a thicker and notably heavier phone. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better looking screen than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a little darker screen and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a higher display pixel density.

The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better CPU than LG G7 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality and a back camera with a better resolution.

LG G7 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G7 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features longer battery lifetime than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G7 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G7 ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
