IPhone 12 Pro Max has a global score of 93.2, which is much better than the LG G8 ThinQ's overall score of 84.3. The iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and LG G8 ThinQ comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. The iPhone 12 Pro Max design is newer and somewhat thinner than LG G8 ThinQ's, although it's much heavier.
IPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a quite superior processing power than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also counts with a 64-bit CPU. IPhone 12 Pro Max has a display that's very similar to the screen in LG G8 ThinQ, because although the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a quite lower resolution of 1284 x 2778 and a quite worse pixel density, it also counts with a little larger display and way more brightness.
The LG G8 ThinQ takes clearer photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 12 megapixels, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a larger camera aperture to take better low light photos and videos.
The LG G8 ThinQ has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max features just a bit longer battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5 percent larger battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG G8 ThinQ, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
