The iPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ's 84.3 overall score. Although the iPhone 8 Plus is older and somewhat heavier than LG G8 ThinQ, it's construction is still a bit thinner. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a bit faster CPU than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a little more vivid screen than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a little opaque screen, it also counts with a greater screen density, a way higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little bit larger display. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus's camera is very similar to LG G8 ThinQ's camera, and although the Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a tinier back camera sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality and a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and video in poorly lited environments, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same resolution back facing camera and the same 60 fps video frame rate.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ features longer battery life than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 2691mAh.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a couple specs and features.
