Comparison review

The Google Pixel 4a 5G is slightly better than LG G8 ThinQ, with an 87.5 score against 84.3. These devices come with Android operating system, but Google Pixel 4a 5G has the older 11 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. Google Pixel 4a 5G's body is newer and a bit thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the LG G8 ThinQ.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a better looking display than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ has a very superior memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit superior processor than Google Pixel 4a 5G. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Google Pixel 4a 5G takes a bit better photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures and videos and a higher resolution camera.

The Google Pixel 4a 5G has just a little bit longer battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery size.

Although Google Pixel 4a 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a 5G, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up some specs and features.
