Google Pixel 5 has a general score of 89, which is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's overall score of 84.3. The Google Pixel 5 is a newer cellphone, and it's also a bit lighter and just a bit thinner than LG G8 ThinQ. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little better processing power than Google Pixel 5, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

LG G8 ThinQ has a much better screen than Google Pixel 5, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher count of pixels per inch in the display. The Google Pixel 5 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a more MP back-facing camera and a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Google Pixel 5 features improved battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4080mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.

Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 5, else you can save some money and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up some features and specs.
