LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, with an 84.3 score against 82.9. Even when the LG G8 ThinQ and Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, the LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.

LG G8 ThinQ features a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 3120 resolution, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a little higher pixel density. Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots much better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better 40 mega-pixels resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with better battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
