Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 90.9, which is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ's overall score of 84.3. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei Mate 40 Pro's body is newer, but just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier than LG G8 ThinQ.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit superior processor than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The LG G8 ThinQ has a better looking display than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a little greater pixel density.
LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 40 Pro captures much better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera and a lot larger sensor which offers a way better image and video quality.
