Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X is a little bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, having a general score of 89.4 against 84.3. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate X's construction is noticeably heavier and much thicker than the LG G8 ThinQ. These phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so both of them should provide you all the same OS features.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better performance than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit lower 1440 x 3120 resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels amount in each inch in the display.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a better camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way lower resolution camera in the back and a lot tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light photos and videos. The Huawei Mate X has a little bit better storage for games and applications than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory.

The Huawei Mate X has superior battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 29% bigger battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up a couple specs and features.
