Huawei Mate X2 is just a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ, with a overall score of 89.1 against 84.3. Huawei Mate X2 is a newer and a bit thinner phone than the LG G8 ThinQ, but it is way heavier. These devices include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate X2 has 10 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Huawei Mate X2 has a little faster CPU than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a greater amount of RAM. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.

Huawei Mate X2 features a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier aperture and lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a much better resolution camera in the back. LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Huawei Mate X2 counts with superior battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G8 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G8 ThinQ, giving up some specifications.
