Comparison review

Huawei P40 is just a bit better than the LG G8 ThinQ, getting an 86.4 score against 84.3. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 has an older 10 version while LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P40 is a just a little bit heavier cellphone than LG G8 ThinQ, but they have the same thickness.

The LG G8 ThinQ and the Huawei P40 both count with really similar CPUs, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. LG G8 ThinQ has a sharper display than Huawei P40, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a better 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution and a better pixels count per inch of display.

Huawei P40 takes much better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much more mega pixels back facing camera and a much bigger sensor.

LG G8 ThinQ features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei P40 counts with just a bit better battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.

The Huawei P40 is a bit more expensive than LG G8 ThinQ, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
