LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is better than the LG G3's 76.4 global score. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G3 has Android 5.0, so it provides you some nice extra features. LG G8 ThinQ's construction is newer and a little bit thinner, but also heavier than LG G3.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a bit better performance than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores. LG G3 has a little more vivid screen than LG G8 ThinQ, although it has a little smaller display, a little less pixels per inch of display, a bit worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot darker display.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a much better storage for games and applications than LG G3, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal storage. The LG G8 ThinQ shoots a bit better pictures and videos than LG G3, because although it has a back camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.

LG G8 ThinQ has a bit superior battery performance than LG G3, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The LG G8 ThinQ costs more money than LG G3, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
